Tell us about your business!
When you work with me, you're not just another client—you're joining a community of people who've shared meaningful moments with me. Many of my clients stay in touch long after their session, and these ongoing relationships are what make this work so rewarding.
Where are you based?
I’m based in Hong Kong and LA. Home is Korea and Thailand.
Do you travel for weddings?
Almost all of my shoots are destinations. I shoot regularly in Asia and Australia however, I’ve been shooting more and more in LA and Europe!
How would you describe your style?
I say this often: art always reflects the artist’s personality. My art is intimate, genuine but also vibrant and joyous. Likewise, I’m an intense introvert that loves to genuinely get to know you, laugh with you and share with you.
What inspires you?
My own love. Every photo I take is essentially a portrait of my own love.
How would you describe your working style?
I like to be personal and blend in - genuinely connecting with my clients is the easiest way for me to bring out their most comfortable selves.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Everything! I'm very adventurous with mediums, I’ll shoot anything from polaroids to medium format to disposables to digital!
Where would you love to travel to for work?
An interesting one but I’d love to shoot in Mongolia.
Who is your dream client?
I actually love brides who would typically be considered “Bridezillas”. I love when my clients are all-in, intense, and invested - they know exactly what they want and push for it, while also trusting me. The best galleries I’ve shot were with couples who challenged me creatively.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Choose a photographer whose personality is consistent with their art. For example, don't choose someone who is super vibrant and quirky, if you're expecting classy editorial photos. A photographer you personally vibe with is more likely to create work that resonates with you too.
