Tell us about your business!
As long as I can remember , photography has always been in my life. My father used to be a photographer as well and I really can say that weddings have always been my bread and butter. But it took me a while to figure out that this was my way. I studied advertising and tried a lot of different types of photography before realizing that the beautiful connection between people, emotions and places was my passion. Since then, I never looked back.
Where are you based?
In Rome, but a piece of my heart still lives in the Southern Italy, not far from the Amalfi Coast, where I was born and raised.
Do you travel for weddings?
I do, and love doing it. I mostly document weddings all over Italy and France, but I love to get enquiries always from different places, it has such an important part in the creative process.
How would you describe your style?
My photography style can be described as nostalgic and photojournalistic with an editorial flair. My photos are for the modern romantic couple looking for delicate, poetic images with a stylish and dreamy feel.
What inspires you?
Travel, nature, art, books, movies, fashion and love stories.
How would you describe your working style?
My working style is relaxed and unobtrusive. I rarely direct a photo outside of the portrait time. But even during this time I like to gently guide my couples towards a good light. However, I prefer they feel free to express themselves, have fun and enjoy that moment all to themselves.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both!
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I offer base packages and several extra options to create a tailor made package both for those who need it for just one day and for those who are creating entire wedding weekend experiences.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
I always tried to achieve the authentic and nostalgic feel of analogue photography with my digital work. Now I include also some film photography in my packages, I love how it puts me in capturing images in a more intentional way.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
Everywhere I haven't been yet! New York City is on the top of the list at the moment.
Who is your dream client?
My dream clients are modern, romantic and sensitive, with an eye for aesthetic, beauty and art. But above all, are the ones who find themselves in my vision and who trust me. That trust is what makes me work at my best. Most of the times, these clients have become good friends over the years, I love to think at that as lovely bonus! Also, my dream clients are the ones who let their love for each other shine through the day!
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Stay true to yourself, enjoy your special day and follow your heart when it comes to choose your vendors.
