What would you like couples to know about you?

I’d love couples to know that I genuinely enjoy being part of a great celebration. I’m inspired by good music, delicious food, cinematic films, and the unique ways people gather to celebrate the people they love.

On a wedding day, my goal is to be both a creative presence and a grounding one. Couples often describe me as calm, friendly, and intuitive. I’m comfortable navigating family dynamics, reading a room, and knowing when to step in with guidance or quietly document moments as they naturally unfold. Building meaningful connections with my couples and their loved ones is one of my favorite parts of the job, and I believe those relationships help create more honest, genuine photographs and films.

I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with and serve a wider range of families and communities with ease.

Where are you based?

Angela Jazmín Studio is based in San Francisco, California and available to document your love worldwide.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. Travel is already included in all experiences.

How would you describe your style?

My style is emotive, artful, and rooted in storytelling. I’m drawn to the in-between moments—the subtle glances, spontaneous laughter, movement, atmosphere, and all the details that make a wedding feel uniquely personal. Light, composition, and human connection are at the center of how I see and document a day.

I seamlessly blend film and digital photography, combining the nostalgia and texture of film with the versatility of digital imagery. The result is a collection of photographs that feels both timeless and alive.

I’m especially inspired by couples who embrace their individuality and create celebrations that reflect who they truly are. Whether that means rewriting traditions, planning an intimate gathering, or throwing a wildly unforgettable party, I’m drawn to documenting weddings that feel intentional, personal, and unapologetically their own.

What is your most memorable career moment?

My most memorable career moment is realizing she can document weddings that feel honest to her as a creative.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired be street photography, fashion, culture, colors, and interestingly messy moments.

How would you describe your working style?

I’m a firm believer that great wedding photography begins long before the wedding day itself. I invest a significant amount of time into preparation, planning, and understanding what matters most to my couples, so that when the day arrives, I can be fully present and focused on creating.

My approach is thoughtful, calm, and intuitive. I’ll gently guide when needed, but I’m never interested in over-directing or forcing moments. Instead, I pay close attention to the energy between people, leaning into natural chemistry, genuine interactions, and the rhythm of the day as it unfolds.

Because the logistical details have already been considered, my couples can spend less time worrying about the photography and more time being present with the people they love. That freedom often leads to the most meaningful and memorable images.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

Absolutely. Angie documents in both digital and film photography, Super 8 video film, and drone.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

All experiences are custom and include travel. With all day wedding coverage starting at 9.5k and local elopements starting at 3k.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

My favorite offering is documenting full wedding weekend experiences. While I love photographing a wedding day, there’s something special about having the time to tell a more complete story.

Being present for multiple events allows me to connect not only with my couples, but also with the people who matter most to them. By the time the wedding day arrives, I’ve often shared conversations, meals, and meaningful moments with family and friends, which creates a level of trust and comfort that naturally translates into more authentic photographs.

I also love that wedding weekends often include additional opportunities for creativity, whether that’s a welcome dinner, cultural celebration, intimate gathering, or portrait session. These moments add depth to the story and allow me to document the full experience—not just a single day, but an entire chapter in a couple’s life.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

I’d love to travel to Central America, Morocco, Seychelles, Japan, Italy, New York City or just about any type of tropical or city setting for love.

Who is your dream client?

My dream client is someone who is creative in their one way, appreciates art, community, connection with their people, and the biggest thing.. values trust in the creative process.

How do you select music for your films?

My couples provide their top 3 songs in order for their wedding films. Angie uses your music to curate a storytelling experience based on the rhythm of the sound and energy from your day, but the final film will have one song.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Lean into why you started planning your wedding in the first place. Use that as your foundation when making decisions. It’s easy to get lost in the outside noise of what you see on the internet or what your families or friends tell you to do. But remembering who you are as a couple first and your WHY, this will help you stay in your path.
