Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I take on a limited amount of destination weddings per year.
How would you describe your style?
Artful, heartfelt, and sophisticated. I love the beauty of natural light and film, and bring a narrative approach to all of my weddings.
What is your most memorable career moment?
One of my brides found out her father was terminally ill a few months before her wedding day. What was supposed to be a 200 person event turned into an intimate gathering at her father's home so he could participate. The moments they shared together were something I'll never forget. It was an honour to capture them.
What inspires you?
Light, impressionism, and the beauty of everyday life. But most importantly, my couples and what makes them "them". That's what I strive to capture.
What motivates you to do what you do?
Creating important images that last generations. I love the idea of my couples' grandchildren looking at their wedding album, transporting them back to that time and place.
How would you describe your working style?
Natural and relaxed. I don't bring any pretense to a wedding, but rather a calming presence. I make sure the stress is lifted off my couples so they can simply enjoy.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
Both!
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I have both preset and customized packages.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
I'm very proud to shoot with film. I think couples are becoming more and more aware of its timeless value.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
I have a few places on my list. Ireland, Bali, Scandinavia. I'm always wanderlusting.
Who is your dream client?
I love couples who value art, kindness, have exquisite taste, and see our relationship as a true collaboration.
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Be true to yourselves on your wedding day. There are no rules. Don't be afraid to take artistic chances, and express your love in an authentic way.
