Tell us about your business!
I’m a film photographer with editorial clients including Vogue Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, L’Officiel Belgium, and Elle Mexico. I’m also completing my PhD in Philosophy at Harvard, where I study the metaphysics of experience and memory. I bring the same intentionality from international fashion editorials to weddings, shooting exclusively on 35mm film and Super8mm video. Each frame is hand-developed at the lab I use for fashion work, where we collaborate to match colors and textures to the spirit of your day. I craft bespoke experiences for each couple and donate a percentage of every wedding to a cause that resonates with your love story. I don’t advertise my wedding work widely — I prefer to work with select couples who find me through trusted referral or intentional search.
Where are you based?
East Coast, USA.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I travel worldwide and destination inquiries are welcomed.
How would you describe your style?
Editorial meets documentary with an ethereal, romantic energy. I like to capture what it felt like, not just what it looked like.
What inspires you?
How people move through space when they forget they’re being watched. Light at strange hours. My research on memory shapes how I see; I’m constantly thinking about what makes certain moments impossible to forget.
How would you describe your working style?
I move with quiet care. My goal is to enable you to feel your wedding rather than perform it, to capture memories unobtrusively so that you are free to be in the present.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
I donate a percentage of every wedding to a cause that resonates with your love story — whether that’s environmental conservation, arts education, refugee support, or something deeply personal to you. I see it as a way to infuse your celebration with good fortune and let its glow extend beyond the day itself. In the clamour of the wedding industry, couples often tell me this makes the investment feel even more meaningful, and it’s something they think of when looking back at the photos years down the road. It’s also a way for me to get to know the couple on a deeper level ahead of the day.
Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?
I primarily shoot film — 35mm and Super8 video on an antique 1960s video camera. I am open to shooting digital when the moment demands it or per client request.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
Everything is custom-built around your vision. Collections begin at $15,000 for East Coast weddings.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
My current dream work destinations include: Southern Spain, Bali, Turkey, and Morocco. I'm always thrilled to have an excuse to go to Tuscany, the French Riviera, or Greece. I love a Southern California wedding as well.
