Photographer Manon Pauffin and Planner and Stylist Anemone Style turned the challenges of the past eighteen months into inspiration for their creative work. “The design was inspired by the concept of rebirth and renew. Not just in reference to couples embarking on their new chapter as a married couple after being faced with adversity, but also to reference a rebirth of the wedding and event industry. The silver lining to this pandemic is that it has given us all a chance to shed the expectations and traditions of old, and embrace fresh new ideas. There can be opportunity in uncertainty. Even in the toughest of times we continue to fight for our love of weddings whilst adapting to the changing nature of them."

Spring felt like the perfect season for this story of renewal and what better location than outdoors in nature with a sense of awakening in the air after a long winter. The overall aesthetic of this design is chic, romantic, understated and organic. The mood is that of an intimate and joyful love story played out across the beautiful gardens of magical Larmer Tree, a unique wedding venue based in Wiltshire in the UK.

To achieve this mood the team used a deconstructed arch with cloud-like textures and spaced out seating for an intimate ceremony and dining tablescape with minimalistic centrepieces, decadent cake by Sugar Plum Bakes and textural florals by Jasper and Quinn. All textiles and organic linens from Mia Sylvia are handmade in England using hand-foraged pigments and regenerated fabrics; textured stationery by The Whole Caboodle is the perfect accompaniment. The dresses from The Fall Bride are minimalistic, modern and elegant and are complemented by jewellery from The Vamoose, an engagement ring by Daniel Darby Jewellery and Hair accessories by Sophie Joy UK, together creating stunning outfit options for a modern spring wedding or elopement.
