Les Fleurs D’Alkonost is a Floral Design Studio located in the south of France, in Provence, run by head designer Estelle. Drawing inspiration from nature and art, Les Fleurs D’Alkonost's goal is to offer an immersive experience through which no detail is overlooked. As an eternal perfectionist, Estelle places great importance on the quality of the flowers and products she chooses, sourcing flowers locally in Avignon. From intimate weddings to grand celebrations, each creation is individually designed for every couple.
Tell us about your business!
I get my inspiration from art, fashion and nature. I like to create floral atmospheres which are different each time, and design for bold and poetic couples.
What would you like couples to know about you?
I like to embrace my couples personalities to create something which speaks a little bit about themselves. The flowers should represent what they love and who they are. No boring flowers, no following trends but just flowers that fit them perfectly.
Where are your boutiques located?
My atelier is based in Marseille.
Do you travel for weddings?
We travel throughout Europe for weddings.
What is your dream work destination?
Greece!
How would you describe your style?
We have a wild and sculptural style, like to have variety in our designs, and love creating wildflower fields as much as floral sculptures.
Tell us about your favourite design or installation!
It was a project I called the “floral carpet”. We did a ceremony set up with a lot of colors and very low lyingflowers on the ground of a chateau, surrounding the couple - with the lovers in a small nest of flora.
What are your favourite flowers to work with?
That is a very difficult question however, spring flowers are my favorite. Sweetpeas are crazy long and wild at the moment and I love the wild shape they have. They smell so good too. Mixing them with ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus and poppies is just a dream!
Where do you source your flowers?
I source my flowers from a wholesale market in Avignon and I have two small farms that I love to go to source some local beauties.
Tell us about a career highlight!
I was contacted by a photographer I admired to work on a project with his team in a wonderful place with a breathtaking sea view, during my first year as a florist. I felt really honored and this project was a major step for the company, as from this one clients began to contact us for our style and creativity.
What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?
We only design for events and weddings. As we are a private atelier, each project is unique and exciting however, my favorite bookings are elopements. When couples elope, with a small group of friends or family, it’s a different vibe. It’s pure love from beginning to end and we feel it in the flowers. They don’t choose flowers because it’s a wedding and they have to, they choose flowers because they truly love it and because it will be part of the experience. We take time to build a dream vision together, we have the time to master every detail.
What inspires you?
Everything I see. I get easily distracted by beauty. It can be a landscape, a plant growing out of nowhere in the street, a movie, a painting…

Couples who are not afraid to be creative!
What is your advice to couples getting married?
Be yourself. Don’t feel forced to do anything. Choose vendors you trust, share your vision and trust the process! Don’t stress over details. We’ll be here to guide you through the floral journey and put our expertise serving your wedding day.
