A Garden Elopement

Event Planner and Stylist Avodah wanted to create a luxurious elopement for garden and design lovers, with an effortlessly elegant mood, a focus on Wabi Sabi and sculptural lines.

Avodah closely collaborated with photographer Minna Kaita, whose focus was to capture moments of deep connection, resulting in images that are moving and perfectly reflected the vision. The Enea Tree Museum, located in a leafy park close to Zurich Lake and combining landscape, botany, architecture, art and design, was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful editorial.

Sustainability was also a key focus of the shoot. Collaborating with creatives that aligned with Avodah's values, was imperative. The beautiful, textured gown by Maria Fekih, handcrafted shoes by Freya Rose, Lamano Jewelry and a cake made with seasonal, local ingredients and a zero waste approach by Labelle Feemaison, added the perfect touch. Keeping florals minimal, Avodah created a bridal bouquet of local Abyssinian Lilies gathered at a local farm, Potager de la Planche. Infusing warmth and a sense of timelessness, neutral tones of whites and ivories and shades of earthen tones were used to pair well with the landscape, along with many textures. The lovers finished their day with a luxurious picnic, champagne, a decadent cake and barefoot dancing on the grass.
