Why did you get married where you did?
A few years ago I saw photos of the Santa Barbara Courthouse and I fell in love. We went back and forth for a while about whether or not to have a big wedding. Brian and I always said that if we didn’t even end up having a big wedding, that we would have something very intimate and elope at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse.
How many guests did you have?
We had 8 guests. Only our family and our photographer Rachel Wakefield were present.
What was your budget?
We didn’t have a budget. Just vibes!
What was the most important aspect for you, in terms of planning your wedding?
It was important to us that our day felt special and intimate. We always wanted the photos to look classic and timeless.
Were there any elements that were important for you to incorporate?
We just wanted to make sure our that son was part of the experience. Since having him we have grown even closer and we just love him so much.
Any tips for couples getting married?
When in doubt elope!
