What would you like couples to know about Rachel Stenger Photo?
It’s important to me that you enjoy your day to the fullest extent, so if we have set times for portraits, we’ll take breaks so you can soak in your time with loved ones, the food and drink, and the vision you created.
How would you describe your style?
My style is timeless, clean, and film inspired while focusing on architecture and design elements.
What is your most memorable career moment?
Capturing any wedding overseas is definitely memorable. There’s two weddings that come to mind, one in Mexico and Sweden, and for both, the company was truly the best. I went as a solo photographer and spent the entire weekend with my couple’s friends and family, soaking in the sun or exploring the country while getting to know those they cared about. There is something about personally getting to know people that makes the actual wedding even more special. I get to be included in the inside jokes, the stories beyond what’s shared in the speeches, the reason for the tears and it makes it all the more sweet for me.
What inspires you?
Any still life oil painting, the French movie Delicieux, and architecture and interior design are monumental. Whenever I walk into a space, I’m always analyzing my surroundings and trying to find one thing that is inspirational about that space. When I’ve found it or stumble upon something in a magazine, it breathes life into me.
How would you describe your working style?
I like to call myself a fly on the wall because I blend into the background and allow moments to happen while also stepping up and taking the lead when necessary.
Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?
I do! I have around 9 packages that I offer but all are customizable. I also create custom packages in case you have very specific needs for your wedding. I also offer video services through my husband, Steven.
Where would you love to travel to for work?
Honestly, the country side of France or Mont Saint Michel is my absolute dream.
Who is your dream client?
My dream clients are the ones that value my work. They love to live in the moment, they’re ok if it rains on their wedding day, they value family and friends, they are super kind, and they love to party!
