What would you like couples to know about you?

My work is modern, elegant, minimalist, fashionable. My approach to photography is documenting those real moments in the most elegant and sensitive way possible.

Where are you based?

Berlin, Germany.

Do you travel for weddings?

Couples book me from all around the world. I have captured weddings in Egypt, Armenia, United States, Mexico, Italy, Canada, France, Spain, England and Germany.

What is your most memorable career moment?

I have had a few memorable career moments. One of which was photographing a wedding at the foot of the Giza Pyramids in Egypt.

What inspires you?

Design, minimalism, architecture, cinematography, la Nouvelle Vague, black and white street photography from the last century and fashion photography.

What motivates you to do what you do?

I want to be the best version of myself. I also want my work to represent 100% what I am, the things that I love, and not trends.

How would you describe your working style?

I believe 50% of a good image is created before the wedding day, by getting to know your couples, making them feel safe and on your side, and making them feel gorgeous.

I work in a documentary style. I'm discreet, respectful and do not interfere with anything. I only give some directions for wedding portraits. However, I don´t push anything, I try to keep the couple shots short, relaxed and fun.

Do you shoot digitally, on film or both?

I mostly shoot digital, but can also shoot on film upon request.

Do you have custom packages according to individual needs?

I meet with couples first to see if we are the right fit for each other. After our meeting, I set up a custom collection based on their wishes. I do not have a standard price list.

The reason is that I only take a limited number of commissions per year, to properly dedicate my effort and energy to each wedding with the necessary dedication required to maintain the quality of my work. I also work as an editorial photographer and therefore want to strike a balance between my work commitments, travel, as well as my family and personal life.

What is a favourite product or service that you offer and why?

I love big wedding celebrations where I can document many real moments and emotions. I also enjoy portrait sessions, coming from editorial photography background, it is something that I also enjoy a lot.

Where would you love to travel to for work?

I have worked in so many different places. I love to travel for my work, but I am also happy when weddings take place in Europe or even at home in Berlin.

Who is your dream client?

My work is not for everybody. That is not my goal. My work is for sophisticated couples searching for something genuine and authentic. Couples with a sensitivity for elegance, minimalism, architecture and art.

What is your advice to couples getting married?

Rehearsal dinners and brunches are a great addition to a wedding celebration - especially if you have a lot of guests, as celebrating only on one single day can be overwhelming. Be yourselves, don't follow a Pinterest mood board with all the trends. Don't include a list of desired photography poses you see at every wedding, if they don´t represent you. It is your celebration, it is your party, do it your way and enjoy it as much as you can!
