Suited was never meant to be an entire collection of suits but once we started, we just couldn't stop. Born out of a nostalgic longing from the days of our mothers and theirs, an entire collection inspired by the details of our favourite era’s, bringing an elegant simplicity back to being the Bride. However, like all things Bowie Rae, even the simplest things in life need a fine, bold edge.
Whether you’re suiting up for the ceremony, the dinner or the after party, Bowie Rae's new collection Suited offers plenty of choice. With a selection of separates as well as mini and a midi dress, the new collection pieces can be mixed and matched to suit each bride. The collection is entirely made in Australia and designer Manal Waugh is based on the NSW South Coast.
Suited was designed with the outfit change in mind. Suit up for the ceremony, party or farewell.
Shot entirely on film by Matt Godkin, the collection was inspired by the fashion of the 80s and 90s. A collection of separates that you can use to create your very own looks. With separates ranging from $600-$1490 and outfits being mostly around the $2000-$2500 mark, the collection offers something to those brides seeking something non-traditional and budget-friendly.
To see the collection book in directly with Bowie Rae for the pop-up show in Melbourne October 11-13th. It's almost booked out so you'll need to get in quick!
